Ever heard someone telling the story of how a pill, natural remedy or routine relieved their pain or healed an ailment?
Someone will usually say “that’s a placebo, it’s all in your head” but they say it like it’s a bad thing.
What if you chose to look at it differently?
Think about it: if something can make you have such a strong mental connection to your body that it creates a physical or emotional change for the better, shouldn’t you embrace it?
It’s also because our minds are so powerful, that this same “placebo effect” comes from the things we say to ourselves about ourselves even when it comes to reaching our fitness and fat loss goals.
Our minds can help or hinder our success.
When we say things to ourselves or others, even if a joking way, that belittle our efforts or hint at impending failure, we are in fact creating our own outcome.
